This company has proudly been “Veteran owned and operated” from its inception to the present, enabling us to diligently observe monumental traditions of the U.S. Armed Forces for our many clients. Tom Murray Monument Company enjoys an “A” rating from the Better Business Bureau with no consumer complaints to date. With seven decades of successful business to its credit, this says something about the firm’s fine reputation for craftsmanship, design, customer service and commitment to quality work.
Most people don’t consider a monument company during their time of bereavement and can be exploited by less than scrupulous vendors. The reason why so many families and individuals put their trust in us is because we have always been respectful and sensitive to consumer needs.
Our layouts typically offer clients at least 2 designs, family surname, names and dates and all the lettering of an epitaph that will fit on a marker. Only special design specifications warrant additional pricing, such as shape carving, margins, rough backs, extra surface polishing, raised letters, etc. All layouts are reviewed and after customer approval, the final design is sandblasted into the marker in our shop by our seasoned craftspeople.
The prices charged today, compared to those charged 10 to 15 years ago, remain comparable and competitive within our regional market area. New and repeat customers come in because they hear about our notable reputation for quality. There are no high pressure sales here; the only goal is to satisfy the customer with what they want as a lasting tribute to their loved ones crafted with beauty and affordability.
When people comment about how attractive the finished marker is, they are told that the credit goes to the worker who did the sandblasting, and these are passed on to the worker. We adhere to the basic principles of honesty, truthfulness, and compassion in treating people, as we would want them to treat us under similar circumstances.
